We encourage ongoing cleaning and maintenance after your hearing aid purchase to ensure you receive optimum performance and benefit from your hearing aid(s). We encourage all our patients to come in for regular hearing aid check-ups and cleaning.
We can spend time with you and discuss ways to make listening with hearing aids easier in your day-to-day life. Family members are welcome and encouraged to come with you and learn about your hearing aids.

Repairs, Maintenance, Cleanings, and Warranties come with all brands of hearing aids. We offer in-office repairs when possible on most makes/models.

Cleaning: General cleaning, tubing change, and maintenance will be charged a $30 office visit for out-of-warranty hearing aids, or hearing aids purchased elsewhere.

In-warranty repair:  No charge for hearing aids purchased at Sonus.   Purchased elsewhere: $30 office visit + shipping cost to manufacturer.  Does not include any programming (see below).

Out-of-warranty repair to manufacturer: Pricing for repair can range from $200 to $400 for repair.  This is dependent on manufacturer's pricing and age of hearing aid and included 6 month or 1 year repair warranty.  This is for the repair only. Pricing does not include any programming from clinic.  Franchise brand hearing aids (Bel-tone, Miracle Ear, Etc) are locked to where only they can access the programming.  In many cases, when hearing aid is sent for repair, the manufacturer will be able to restore the settings.

Programming:  Programming is charged at $250 per ear.  This comes with 3 - 30 minute follow ups, or 6 months (whichever comes first).  If hearing aid has never been programmed to your loss, a hearing test will be required, and will be an extra cost.
